WHO WE ARE

A faith-based, transitional program for formerly incarcerated women who are breaking the cycle of prison, addiction and hopelessness.

Steady. Rooted. Life-Giving Transformation

Oaks of Righteousness exists to walk alongside women as they step into restoration and lasting freedom. Rooted in faith and grounded in community, our program provides a safe and nurturing environment where women are equipped to heal, grow, and rediscover their God-given identity. We believe transformation happens over time—when women are planted in truth, surrounded by support, and given space to grow strong.

100% of the women who graduate from the Oaks program successfully transition into the next chapter of life.

Did you know? Most former inmates wind up returning to prison.

Women who have paid their debt to society still pay a heavy price when they leave prison.  They can find themselves trapped by addiction, broken relationships and crushing poverty. At the Oaks, we help women break the cycle of incarceration. Our Christ-centered, evidence-based program helps women build new lives through faith, healing and recovery.
When I came to Oaks, I had nothing but broken pieces. They didn’t just give me a place to stay, they gave me hope, stability, and a chance to rebuild my life with Christ and establish a firm foundation for me and my twins.

It's More Than Just a Program

Oaks was created to be more than a program—it is a home, a community, and a journey. Our mission is not quick fixes, but long-term transformation through discipleship, structure, and love. We offer a one-year, faith-based residential program with an option for women to stay longer as they pursue educations or career training.

Here’s what the Oaks approach looks like
6 Months

Phase One

Women often arrive with very little, but they are welcomed with care, dignity, and a supportive community ready to walk alongside them. They participate in a 12-step recovery program, individual counseling, Bible studies, mentoring, and job skills training. Most importantly, they are given the time, space, and support to truly heal.

12 Months

Phase Two

Residents secure employment, begin managing their finances responsibly, and open a bank account to establish healthy financial habits and credit history. They continue their recovery journey while building independence and stability. After six months, they are equipped to graduate and transition confidently into the next season of life.

Optional

Phase Three

Women may extend their stay while continuing their education or career training, allowing them additional time to strengthen their foundation. They maintain employment and contribute a higher program fee, still below market rent, while continuing to build financial stability and independence.

Behind every life is a story worth honoring

Each woman’s journey is different—but every story is marked by hope, courage and healing. Watch and see what God is doing in the lives of these women.
